MEETING MINUTES
APRIL 15, 2009
TOWN HALL
Members Present: Al Berg, Paul Challenger, Rick Bates, Peter Lacy, Glenn Gaudette, Don Mancini, Marilynn Foley
Member Absent: Jim Dunn
Also Present: Selectman Ken O'Brien, Dave White
The meeting was called to order at 7:00.
Al reported that the $735,000.00 surplus that the town had hoped to have has been cut to about $300,000.00 by the State on the cherry sheet for local aid.
The Committee reviewed budgets - General Government Departments and Public Safety and made a list of items for further review.
Increase the Reserve Fund, Regionalization/MORE group, IT-increase payment from HMLD, Wage adjustments to come back to each budget, Accounting - Clerical P/T, Investment Income, Postage all budgets, 9C cuts, Health Insurance - all budgets, Retirement nos. from WCRS, Debt-IIF and Public Safety Building, Conservation Agent Conservation Funds, Quinn Bill, Police Vehicles, EMS budget update, Call Firefighters, Fire Dept depreciation fund, Purchase of tanker with federal grant, EMS vehicle insurance, Emergency Management - computer for CERT team, EMS backup plan for 7-1-09
The next meeting will review the remaining budgets.
The meeting adjourned at 9:40.
